Many people feel lost, have nowhere to turn, feel they can’t trust anyone anymore because of too many broken promises and flat out lies.

Hi I have lost my faith in our pollies as they have allowed themselves and in turn our country to be ruled by big companies and money. Since the pokies in pubs laws by Richard “Dick” Face went through the NSW parliament we have seen big companies fleecing from the people and line the coffers of each political party. My superannuation from hard honest work in the building/hospitality and the IT industry will look nowhere near as good as any politician’s superannuation + pension (where will my pension be at 65?). Long service leave is all but gone and try to get a job with benefits in the hospitality industry! I am lucky to have a permanent/part time position with sick pay and holiday pay (lucky me!) yet I am 37 years old and my hourly rate is $15.60 (not so lucky me) and my boss is apparently doing it hard. Lets fix this and fix all the bad policy severing jobs which actually build or do nothing but create volatility in the stock market. Lets reclaim our money and put it into the poorest peoples pockets, Lets reclaim our future before it’s too late. Count me in.
For quite some while my eyes have been wide open, We can see the ancient ass system we are still apart of is floored by design. The system itself creates greed and corruption, creates wars based on money and profit and ownership of recourses. We know the media lies to us on a daily basis by reporting a biased view on most events and highlight the negative to ingrain fear and hate into us all. We know the political sect is nothing but high school popularity contest between the strongest two groups of bullies liars. We know the relions of the world are there to detach human repsonsibilty for anything and control us through there beliefs. Your movement has my support along with everyone I know to be along the same path, and where all ready to take action. one love renegades. It really is time to stand up!!

Given the theme of your protest, wouldn’t it be better to work together with like minded people?
We will work together with whomever makes firstly a valid point, and secondly those of who, make sense and are not in it because they want a free ride on the backs of those who work their guts out to feed their families because they have a sense of community and want a better life for their children. The comment I made highlights the poor excuse that some have made this movement into. This is not about discrediting them, this is about apply good sense vs a ultra socialist agenda driven by those who want to free load.
Many have issues that they want to get off of their chest, that’s great. But this is not about left vs right. This runs deeper.
First and foremost families and children, are what we affect by making our point, so before someone hijacks this into a Socialist, Neo Fascist, Politically Oriented Agenda based on wealth redistribution or into “the haves vs the have nots” this needs to be halted right now. This transverses politics from either side.
Oh yeah and Richard Face part owned (or owns) some pubs in Sydney (The Orient in the rocks was one) at the time he was Gaming/Racing minister of NSW when he put through those pokie laws. How was this ever allowed and look at the social problems it’s created. Where is he now?

I have lost faith in our political system. I have seen big business buy up our governments with promises of jobs and infrastructure only to see down the track that business move “off shore”. I have seen University turn into business, with degress becoming a commodity, not about learning. I have seen gambling take over sport, and pubs. I have seen live music venues swallowed by pokies and narrow minded self interest. I have seen our media swallowed by media giants who think they are better placed to run the world than elected governments.
Finally, I seen greed and self interest run riot through business, government, education and the media killing off those voices that would speak against the greedy and self interested. The power is in the hands of the corporations, the conglomerates, the mega rich.
These are the demons of the modern world, these are the demons we fight. I don’t know how to win, but win we must at all costs!
